ADAPTED COVID & FLU VACCINE CLINIC SUMMIT DD BARBERTON CENTER Car Side or Inside Clinic Options Is needle anxiety preventing you from getting your COVID or flu vaccine? We can help! ASGA is proud to partner with the Summit County Board of DD and Sand Run Pharmacy to provide this opportunity.
WHO’S ELIGIBLE:
Each person who receives a vaccine and completes a brief survey will receive a FREE Vaccination Support Bag and a McDonald’s gift card. Make an appointment for this adapted clinic that uses tools to reduce pain and anxiety. Registration required. Deadline to register is Friday, January 26.

Peer-led, informal support groups provide time for discussion and information sharing for anyone impacted by Autism. SUMMIT COUNTY: Friday, Jan 19, Stow Panera, 7-8 PM - join facilitator Dana Moruzzi to discuss sensory bags followed by informal discussion. SOCIAL CLUB FACILITATORS - Professionals are needed on a contractual basis to facilitate social clubs for individuals with Autism ages seven to adult. Facilitators work with and are supported by ASGA's licensed social worker. EDUCATION MANAGER - This grant funded position focuses on expanding community engagement and ASGA’s educational initiatives by managing our core education programs, including, but not limited to, Autism Friendly Communities, First Responder Training programs, and Autism 101. DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT - Detail-oriented professional needed to work in donor relations and retention, database management, event and project execution, administrative functions, prospect research, and support of solicitation and stewardship cycles. |

JAN 20, 9am-10am - Sensory Friendly Day at the Cleveland Museum of Art JAN 23, 6:30-7:30pm - Family University’s next session is Accessing and Utilizing STABLE Accounts and the Medicaid Waiver with published author and Attorney Derek L. Graham. JAN 24, 11am-12pm - Medina DD Winter Toddler Play Group at Brunswick Library. JAN 24, 6-7pm - MCBDD: TRUST AND ESTATE PLANNING. Join to discuss ways families can plan for the future to help those with developmental differences. Learn what is involved in putting together an estate plan when you have a child or family member with developmental differences. JAN 25, 4pm - Autism Society's Self-Advocacy Workshop. This self-advocacy workshop will focus on how to stay safe on the internet. We will learn from an expert on best practices and common errors that result in individuals getting into negative situations.
