Autism is Action

Tuesday, April 29
6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Akron-Summit County Public Library – Auditorium
60 S High St, Akron, OH 44326

The Autism Society of Greater Akron and The Arc of Ohio have teamed up to provide insights into potential federal policy changes affecting Education and Medicaid. Gary Tonks from The Arc of Ohio and Kerry Agins from Agins & Gilman LLC will discuss the impact of proposed changes and how these changes might affect Ohio’s systems and our community.

As we close April and Autism Acceptance Month, come celebrate with us by building your own knowledge on these matters. Understand how you and your community may potentially be impacted by policy changes. Along with others who care deeply about these issues, discover how you can frame your experiences and concerns to advocate for decision-making that puts people above politics by highlighting YOUR concerns.

We will provide tools and proven strategies for you to elevate your voice and invite you to practice those skills with support from our team of professionals. Let’s unite, learn, share, and take action to protect our loved ones and community.
