This six week pilot program is a collaboration between the Autism Society of Greater Akron and Kent State University. It will be held at Kent State University Speech and Hearing Clinic on Wednesdays from 4:30 – 5:30 starting June 28, 2017 with a culminating party on August 2, 2017.
The program is designed for children who can take turns and participate in small group settings with a reliable form of language and with an age appropriate cognitive level.
Cost of the six week program is $220. If you are paying out-of-pocket as a parent/caregiver (not using County Board of DD or third party funds), then the Autism Society of Greater Akron provides an $80 scholarship to you - making the cost $140. This scholarship is made possible through a grant from the The Portage Foundation.
