Volunteers in our community are helping the Autism Society of Greater Akron fulfill its mission every day – to improve the lives of all affected by autism. Volunteering with us is easy and there are a number of different opportunities to suit every interest or desire to help, no matter how much time one has to devote to a project.

Walk Team Packet Bundling - June 15
10 AM - 4 PM at Lock 3
Our teams work hard to recruit members and fundraise, so we need your help to bundle their team items for them to pick up. Volunteers receive an official event performance t-shirt. DO IT #4AUTISM. SIGN UP TODAY!
Autism 5k Run & Walk - June 17
6 AM - 11 AM a Lock 3
The success of our Autism 5k Run & Walk is dependent on the dedication and commitment of our volunteers. This is your chance to make a real difference #4AUTISM. Help is needed in a wide variety of areas and you receive an official event performance t-shirt.
iCan Bike Camp - July 10-14
Daily at Copley High School
80 volunteer spotters are needed to make this camp a success. Volunteers assist riders with all different abilities by walking/lightly jogging beside riders to help teach balance and provide emotional/motivational support while they learn to ride a two-wheel bike independently.
