Jane Fitz has a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies from Kent State University. She earned a minor in Autism Spectrum Disorders and participated in various student organizations including 4 Paws for Ability, where she trained puppies to be service dogs for individuals with disabilities. Jane is no stranger to ASGA, having taught swim at the Swimming with Autism program and later serving as the facilitator for the LEGO social club for two sessions. READ MORE...

NH Activity Boxes Exploring OutdoorsNEW!! FISHING WITH SUMMIT METRO PARKS

ASGA is partnering with the Summit Metro Parks to provide an inclusive family fishing experience at Furnace Run Park! The cost is $25 per family and incudes a fishing-related activity kit, necessary gear, bait, and fun outdoor games! Park staff will be there to assisst. MEDICAID TOOLKIT- This toolkit provides information about Medicaid and the services you have available to you. In addition, to help clarify what is available, a Medicaid State Plan Services online course is now available in DODD MyLearning.

SUGGESTIONS FOR AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN
- ODM, ODA, DODD, OhioMHAS and ODE are seeking suggestions from stakeholders for investments in Home and Community-based services (including behavioral health services and services for individuals with substance use disorder) under the Medicaid Program. Complete by August 19. 

OhioRISE WEBINAR - Join members of the Ohio Department of Medicaid Monday, August 30, 2021 from 1 – 2 PM has they provide a preliminary, general overview of the forthcoming OhioRISE program.

AUTISM WEBINARS - Over the next year, the Interagency Work Group on Autism (IWGA) is inviting Ohioans to join us for a series of conversations about autism. The next webinar is "Community Living: Where and how someone lives" discussing housing and living options, community access, transportation, home adaptations, and modifications on September 17 at 9 AM.
