We know protecting your loved one with a disability is one of your highest priorities. We also know it’s not always easy to decide what is best. That is why ASGA is providing information to help you make informed decisions and this Saturday, offering a FREE COVID-19 vaccine clinic that is just for the disability community.

Going on vacation out-of-state?  Want to be ready for the start of school?

If you feel you or your family member would benefit from the COVID-19 vaccine or booster, schedule an appointment at ASGA's adapted clinic.

The clinic is open to the public; you do not have to register for Step Into Autism to access the clinic which is located right next to the Akron Children’s Museum

Adaptions provided include:

  • Schedule an appointment (walk-ins accepted)
  • Download forms to reduce wait time
  • Social narrative available
  • Vaccine kit provided with shot blocker
  • Activities to do while you wait
  • Request Buzzie Bee, if desired
  • Band-Aid Choice Board

Clinic location has easy access:

The clinic is located right next to the Akron Children’s MuseumIt is easily accessed via elevator or stairs from the O’Neill Parking Deck off State Street.

STEP INTO AUTISM WALK

June 18 | 10am - 1pm | Lock 3 Akron


This Saturday we will be kicking off our first Step Into Autism walk since 2019! Vendors open at 10am and walk starts at 11am.  Come Join Us!

Free event!  Register today to enjoy:

  • Walk: One mile or two mile
  • Resource Fair: Visit over 20 local service providers to get information and ask questions about your personal situation.
  • Characters: 501st Legion (Star Wars), Part of Their World princesses, Northeast Ohio Ghostbusters, and more!
  • Inflatables: large slide and bounce house
  • Raise $50 to get a commemorative T-shirt
  • Music: Hearts for Music Special Needs Orchestra performance
  • Dance Party: fun with characters and bubbles at the stage
