The Summit County Step Into Autism Walk, Resource Fair, and Family Fun Day is only 4 weeks away!  We are excited to announce that ASGA is partnering with the Summit County Public Health (SCPH) vaccine team and the Akron Children’s Museum to offer a free Disability Accessible COVID Vaccine Clinic at this year’s walk! 

ASGA is providing the adaptions to the clinic, which include using several tools and techniques to make it easier for individuals who may need extra support to access the vaccine. While the Clinic is disability accessible, it is open to the public and everyone is welcome. ASGA is training the SCPH team to help them support our community beyond the June 18 walk. The Akron Children’s Museum is allowing anyone who receives the vaccine at this clinic to “wait out” the 15-minute observation time for free in the museum.

Disability Accessible Vaccine Clinic | 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

• Open to the Public; do not have to register for Step Into Autism to access the clinic
• Located indoors next to Akron Children’s Museum
• Time slots are limited! Register today and avoid wait time at the clinic!
• Walk-ins are accepted 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. as appointment availability permits.
• Vaccine Kits provided to make experience easier
• Free admission to Akron Children’s Museum after vaccine

Step Into Autism is ASGA’s largest fundraiser and allows us to offer inclusive programs, events, and accessible opportunities like the above clinic.
