The Autism Society of Greater Akron (ASGA) will host its third annual Casino Night benefit on Saturday, November 2, 2019, from 6 pm to 11 pm at Portage Country Club in Akron. Join ASGA for an evening of excitement to raise funds for their inclusive programs including iCan Bike Camp and Swimming with Autism, as well as the other educational and advocacy programs that help improve the lives of all affected by autism in the greater Akron community.

This year’s Double Down Casino Night, presented by FirstEnergy Foundation, will feature dinner, a cash bar, silent auction, prize raffles, 50/50, live auction and casino games. The goal is to raise over $45,000 for ASGA’s programs by the end of the night.

Why should you “Double Down” for ASGA? Carol Haines, Vice President of Power Solutions for Core Scientific and Chairman of the Double Down Committee said, “Simply put, it’s a sure bet that all proceeds from Casino Night will directly serve the over 16,000 individuals and families living in the Greater Akron area who are affected by autism. Whether it be a young adult with autism transitioning into adult life or a parent seeking the necessary resources to advocate for their child, ASGA offers guidance, understanding, and compassion to support their needs. Those needs continue to grow, as a child is diagnosed with autism every 20 minutes. Every dollar raised is an investment in the future of those in our community who need it most. Will you place a bet on them?”
