This training gives families, educators, and service providers practical information, real-life examples, and instruction in strategies they can use to care for, support, educate, employ, or work with people on the autism spectrum from early childhood through young adulthood.
Autism Society of Greater Akron, and the Family Center and Autism Certification Center at OCALI are co-hosting a free event for parents, school administrators and staff, counselors, anyone who supports or works with a person with autism. Preview ASD Strategies in Action and enjoy light refreshments while connecting with parents and professionals from the Akron area.
Guest speakers will join us to share their experiences using the training videos at home, at school, and in the community. The program will run from 6:30-7:30 pm followed by networking until 8 pm.
If you live with, love, or support someone on the autism spectrum, this training is for you.
