About the Artist
My name is Monica Doyle. A friend of the family was diagnosed with Autism. Also, a girl named Sarah who I went to middle school with has Autism. She was the sweetest person and sat and talked with me every day at lunch.

About the Artwork
For my piece, I made a giant puzzle piece which stands for Autism. Inside of the puzzle piece are smaller pieces, which are all designed different and unique in their own way. Each of the smaller puzzle pieces stand for a different person affected by Autism, and how they are unique in their own way as well. There aren’t two puzzle pieces the same, as there aren’t two people affected the same.
