As the father of two adult men on the spectrum, I have experience the challenges and sometimes joys of autism for many years.

About the Artwork
This painting is of my oldest son depicting one of many phases that identified the focus of his life during this time. He taught himself to read at the age of 4. He also had a fascination with firetrucks. The painting tries to capture all that seemed to run through his mind as he perseverated on numbers, reading and trucks!
