The middle and high school years are a challenge for everyone, especially individuals living with autism and other developmental disabilities. If you are age 13 to 17, looking to make friends and have fun then this group is for you!

NH Grandparent Chat

GRANDPARENTS: WALKING
THE NARROW LINE

Thursday, February 4 | 7:00-8:30 PM | Zoom Meeting

Are YOU a grandparent of a grandchild with a developmental disability? ASGA has created a space for grandparents to build supporting relationships while discussing family conflict, levels of support, and how to be an asset to their grandchild with special-needs. There is a focus on autism, however grandparents of grandchildren of all abilities are welcome!

ASGA has added a second Social Club to this year's program lineup! Participants will interact with other members and discuss the job search, making new friends, building relationships, hobbies and special interests. If you are a member of the first Social Club, you do not need to register again, NEW REGISTRANTS, 18 OR OLDER, ONLY!

PAID INTERNSHIP - The Summit County Executive's Office is hiring 12 interns for Spring, 2021.

COVID VACCINE UPDATE - Individuals with developmental disabilities are next in line to get the COVID vaccine. 

COVID VACCINE INFO - The DODD has released new information about the vaccine to help families make the right decision for themselves. 

AUTISM STUDY - Study by Old Dominion to examine the measurement properties of the Quality of Life for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder scale.

PAID SURVEY - The University of Kansas is looking for parents of children with ASD to participate in a study on the relationship between the level of parenting stress on child’s communication skills.
