COLLEGE FOR LIVING PROGRAM - The COLLEGE FOR LIVING gives opportunities throughout the year for individuals with developmental disabilities to take part in and explore the many local resources available in the community. Funded through Summit DD, this program offers citizens with disabilities a wide variety of activities to socialize, explore hobbies, or discover new interests. As the primary force in the community dedicated to inclusion, Summit DD believes that communities are stronger when they include everyone – with or without a disability.

STAFFING SHORTAGE
Many industries across the country and in Ohio have felt the impact of staffing shortages during the COVID-19 pandemic. The disability service industry has certainly felt this impact, as many provider Agencies are struggling to hire and retain Direct Service Professional (DSP) staff. Here is Summit DD's plan!

CAPABILITIES CHARITABLE FUND GRANT OPPORTUNITY - Capabilities Charitable Fund is awarding mini grants to people with disabilities, ages 14+ years, to help them achieve their community employment goals. The mini grants can be used for, but not limited to, accessing transportation, interview clothing, tools needed for work, professional services to help someone find employment, assistive technology, etc.
