REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!!  ASGA in partnership with the Kohl Family YMCA is proud to offer a fall session of  “Swimming with Autism,” a 9-week water safety program. Each lesson is 30-minutes of one-on-one instruction focusing on water safety, water entry and exit, breath control, balance and floatation, and combined arm and leg action through the water. Cost is $400 (a $700 value, with a $300 scholarship awarded to every swimmer) for 18 lessons with ages 6 through adult eligible. Space is limited.

COVID MATERIALS - These materials were created to help make communicating about COVID-19 a little easier for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Choose from videos, posters, social stories, and interactive activities to best meet your communication needs.

AUTISM SCHOLARSHIPS - Ohio’s Autism Scholarship Amount has Increased to $32,455.

FALL ACTING CLASSES - The Center for Applied Drama and Autism presents its class fall schedule for all abilities. It is $125 for ten classes per session, September 13 - November 20. 

COMMUNITY LIVING WEBINAR -  The Interagency Workgroup on Autism is inviting Ohioans to join them for a series of discussions about autism, starting September 17 at 9 AM with "Community Living". Learn where and how someone lives – housing and living options, community access, transportation, home adaptations, and modifications.

COMEDY GROUP AUDITIONS - CADA’s Comedy Troupe is holding auditions September 21 and 23 from 6-8PM. The virtual audition will consist of an interview with Director Ruben Ryan and Assistant Director John Lynch, followed by an improv session with three applicants at a time.

EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, AND INDEPENDENT LIVING - A Series on Supported Decision-Making with Jonathan Martinis, first session, “Supported Decision-Making: From Justice for Jenny to Justice for All” starts October 6, 2021 at 6 PM.
