Meet the Leader:
Bren Sheaffer
Bren (she/her) recently retired as a teacher at Copley-Fairlawn High School. She has had the opportunity to work with many students on the spectrum at school, and her oldest son is on the spectrum. She volunteers at her church by planning events, cooking, singing, and helping others. She enjoys music, graphic design, flowers, and trying pizza from different pizza shops.

Meet the Leader:
Laura Wynn
Hello! My name is Laura Wynn and I’m very excited to be joining the Autism Society of Greater Akron! I work in special education with Kent City Schools. I am a mother to two boys, Julian (13) and August (9). Together, we enjoy traveling, hiking and riding bikes. I love to visit museums, attend concerts, try different foods (my favorite is still pizza!), kayak, photography, swimming, and spending time with my nieces and nephews. I’m looking forward to a year of wonderful programming with all of you!

Meet the Leader:
Levi Foutty
Levi (he/they) is an advocate for the autistic community, working closely with them in professional and community settings.
I stay active in supporting my community by doing food distribution for Akron’s unhoused community, spreading awareness about addiction prevention and recovery, and advocating for mental health awareness.
In my free time you can find me in coffee shops, local music venues, and on hikes. I love to cook, play music, read, and create art.
