Come fishing with ASGA and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources at Wingfoot Lake State Park. Try a new activity without buying all the gear. What a great way to spend a lovely fall morning!
COST
$10 per person for those people who will be fishing.
Payment is up to a maximum of $40 per family or group. Caregivers assisting their fisherman do not have to pay.
- All necessary fishing gear and bait
- Naturalists will provide assistance to anyone needing help
- Other nature items to explore
- Outdoor games – frisbee, corn hole
- Snacks and water
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- Wingfoot Lake State Park will have an aquarium to hold fish until event ends – then fish caught will be thrown back into the lake
- No fishing license is required
- Bring your lawn chairs or blanket – limited picnic tables available
- Don’t forget bug spray, hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
- Feel free to stay and explore the park including a storybook trail and playground after the event has concluded.
