We know that finding enjoyable recreational activities in a welcoming and supportive environment can sometimes be a challenge. ASGA Recreation Adventure provides an opportunity for autistic individuals and their families to explore the recreation experience of their choice. This event offers two hours of action-packed fun featuring roller skating, laser tag, bumper cars, trampolines, the rock wall, an arcade (extra cost), and more!
Come be active, connect with others, and have fun your way.
Cost
- Not Skating or Bringing Your Own Skates: $8 per participant
- Skate Rental Needed: $11 per participant
Registration includes access to:
- Roller skating
- Laser tag
- Rock wall
- Bumper cars
- Jump Shot Basketball
- Trampolines
- Snacks and Drinks provided by ASGA
Arcade games are available for an additional cost and are not included in registration.
Concessions are open to purchase other food items for an additional cost.
What to Expect
Facility Information
- This event takes place indoors.
- Free onsite parking is available.
- Participants will check in with ASGA staff upon arrival.
- Skate mates available at no additional cost for participants who would benefit from extra support while skating.
- Walkers and wheelchairs are permitted on the skating rink. For safety, individuals pushing a wheelchair may not wear skates.
- Restrooms are handicap accessible.
Sensory Considerations
- Lighting and music can be adjusted throughout most areas of the facility to support participants’ sensory needs.
- Arcade games will remain on during the event and will produce typical arcade sounds and visual effects.
What to Wear
- Socks are required for skate rentals and trampoline use.
- Closed-toe shoes are required for laser tag and the rock wall.
- You are welcome to bring your own skates.
- Helmets, wrist guards, knee pads, elbow pads, and other safety equipment are welcome but will not be provided by the facility.
Food & Drinks
- ASGA will provide bottled water and individual bags of snacks.
- Additional food and beverages may be purchased directly from the facility.
Arcade Information
- Arcade games are available for an additional charge.
- Cash is recommended.
- The facility charges a 4% convenience fee for credit card transactions.
Attraction Guidelines
Participation in some attractions is subject to height and weight requirements.
- Rock Wall minimum weight: 40 pounds
- Bumper Cars minimum height: 36 inches
- Youth/Small Child skate sizes available: 8-13
- Speed skates and inline skates may be available for an additional fee.
- The number of games and attractions available may vary based on operational needs and availability.
