GUIDELINES, RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND SAFETY PROTOCOL

GUIDELINES for the SOCIAL CLUB

  1. Respect the other members in the group. Listen to their ideas and allow them to finish talking before you begin.
  2. Different opinions or interests are OK. We are all entitled to our own point of view.
  3. What is said in Club meetings, stays in the Club!
  4. Respect everyone’s physical or mental differences.
  5. Please identify yourself every time you speak (because some members are not using video).
  6. Please silence all electronics.
  7. This is a closed Club. Anyone who has not registered to be a part of the ASGA Teen Social Club (outside friends, siblings, etc.) is not permitted to participate.
  8. If a participant is unwilling to be courteous with others in the Club or refuses to follow the Club guidelines, his/her parents will be notified, and membership in the Club will be suspended.
  9. Make new friends and have fun!

Release of Liability

I understand that my son/daughter is voluntarily participating in the ASGA Social Club for Teens with ASD and other developmental disabilities. I understand that the meetings are not intended as therapy or treatment for any mental health or physical disorder.

My son/daughter has read the guidelines for the Teen Social Club and agrees to abide by them.

Safety Protocol

If a club member becomes visibly upset and chooses to leave the meeting while it is in-session, the group facilitator will contact the member's parents to ensure the participant’s personal safety.

By typing my name in the box below, I confirm that I have read and agree with the Teen Social Club Guidelines, Release of Liability, and Safety Protocol.  You will receive a copy of each of these in your registration confirmation.
