Additional Resources
For Job Seekers:
Virtual Interviews – Virtual interviews are becoming increasingly popular for companies, government entities, and other organizations as either the first step in the interviewing process or the entire interview process.
Behavioral Interviews – Behavioral Interviews are based on the idea that the best indicator of how someone will perform in the future is to look at how they performed in the past. Answering behavior-based questions can be challenging, but having a structure to frame these answers can help.
Structured Interviews – Interviews with the State of Ohio usually follow a structured format. This means all candidates participate in the same process, are asked the same questions, and responses are scored using the same scoring key. Structured interviews are intended to be fair and objective and are used to determine which candidate has the right skills and traits to be successful in the role.
