Halloween can be a challenging time for some individuals and families living with Autism and other developmental disabilities. The bright lights, loud noises, having to say "trick or treat" -- what if you're non-verbal -- the social cues, changes in routine, and costumes that may be uncomfortable for sensory reasons. The Autism Society of Greater Akron (ASGA) in partnership with Portage Park District (PPD) invite you to trick-or-treat in the park in a supportive, accessible environment. Wear a costume or not! Say trick-or-treat or not! We welcome you for YOU!
