Making a Difference in 2022

WEB Page Impact 2022

In 2022, ASGA’s mission was more critical than ever to create connections within our community. The Autism Society of Greater Akron’s Board of Directors and staff worked hard to re-prioritize our budget to create programs that helped connect individuals in the Autism community and their families.

Here is how ASGA made a difference in 2022:

  • Autism Resources provided to 922 individuals through the HelpLine, Facebook, and CTA groups
  • Social clubs held 52 meetings for 118 people with developmental disabilities of all ages
  • Created an Educational Section on website with 5725 views
  • Organized 28 Inclusive Activities and events for 1612 individuals and families
  • Held 862 life-saving water safety lessons through our Water Safety Program
  • Engaged 210 volunteers with 1972 hours of service

We will continue to develop top-shelf programs that meet the needs of the Autism community! Make sure to check our calendar, sign up for our newsletter, and join us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter to receive weekly updates on our upcoming programs and events!

Let’s continue to create meaningful connections!
