Parents have so many questions about their child’s special education rights and needs during this pandemic. They worry their student isn't receiving the instruction they need which could possibly lead to regression. What should an individualized education program (IEP) look like during these uncharted times?

Speaker:  Kerry Agins, Special Education Attorney at Agins & Gilman, LLC

Kerry will answer your questions about special education requirements during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is being created in a three-part series to allow for opportunities for new discussions as guidance, information and resources are updated throughout the summer.

Highlights of the Discussion

  • What do we know now?
  • What can we expect next year to look like?
  • How do we assure that students with disabilities are provided appropriate services in the meantime?
  • How can parents advocate right now?

Do I need to register?

Yes!  In order to maintain online security, you must register to attend the webinar and participate in the Q&A session.  If you are unable to attend, the webinar will be recorded and posted to the ASGA website and Facebook page.
