(Akron, January 18, 2022)... The Autism Society of Greater Akron (ASGA) announced today the appointment of three new members to their board of directors. This brings the total number of board members to 14.

The following members are newly appointed:

Sarah Wenner Bloomhuff, Regional Executive Vice President, SeibertKeck Insurance Partners

Sheri Maskow, Owner, J&M Business Solutions, LLC

Dr. Laura Markley, Medical Director, Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry; Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist; General Pediatrician, Akron Children’s Hospital

These individuals were nominated by their fellow board members and appointed based on their commitment to the Autism community and in advancing the Autism Society’s mission to create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community with the resources needed to live fully.

We appreciate their contributions as we enter another growth year executing our strategic plan in the midst of these challenging times. Our focus continues to be creating an inclusive community for individuals with developmental disabilities with our Autism Friendly Communities program, growing our footprint to serve more families with inclusive events, and providing important support and educational resources for all impacted by disability,” said Laurie Cramer, Executive Director, ASGA.
